Vineyard of 440 Ha North-East South-West, situated on hillside. Soils are gravely, rich with limestone and sandy marl.
65% Grenache, 35% Syrah,
The grapes are hand and machine harvested at optimum maturity. Fermentation: some destemming takes place prior fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which lasts for 14 to 20 days with continuous pumping over. Temperature controlled between 25 and 35°C.
Deep red colour with purplish tints.Intense fragrance of black fruits and spicy flavours.Great structure and balance with smooth tannins which will soften further with ageing. Long harmonious finish.
Perfect accompaniment to cooked meats, game and cheese.
